Bible Verses and the Valentine's Holiday
As we move through February my mind goes to the holiday everyone thinks about during this time of the year because it represents love. Love is universal and is experienced by all people of different cultures, countries, and lifestyles. Being raised in a Christian home and being a born-again Christian I have experienced love and was taught love from a very young age. The fact that today is Valentine's Day makes me want to search for scripture that reflects love in the Bible. The Bible doesn't talk about the holiday or have specific messages about the day, but it does have a lot to say on the subject of love.
Love as a central theme of the Bible has over 570 mentions within its content. Covering all facets of Love, you will have no problem finding some sweet love quotes here to write in a card to give to your significant other. And if you are single there is no problem finding reassuring words in the Good Book of God's love for everyone. Please know that you are deeply loved by God and others in your life and you can share that love with those you meet. This is a collection of my favorite scripture and bible verses about love that you can share with others. I truly hope you enjoy reading over these verses and sharing them with your special someone.
