Fall Campout 2022
Mike and I go to the mountains for a fall campout every year during the last week of October. It's the most beautiful time to see the peak of the season change of the leaves. The colors are gorgeous, the weather is awesome, and the environment just feels so welcoming to everyone. We spend 7 to 8 days taking hikes and riding our bicycles, walking our dogs, and eating hot dogs roasted over the fire. This year was no exception, and we also had the opportunity to entertain tricker-treaters for the first time. These were families camping as we do for the last week before the campground shuts down for the winter. The campground is called Indian Boundry, we love it there. It's a beautiful, well-kept place to go that is not too far away from home to go and spend a week enjoying the outdoors. I wonder how many of you folks have a fall trip that you always try to make. This just usher's in the coming holiday starting with Halloween and then the coming celebrations of Thanksgiving and Christmas. Can you share some of your fall excursions as well?
