Why Do We Have Reoccurring Dreams?

Why do we have reoccurring dreams? This has been an issue of mine for a really long time, for years. I never understood why this happened to me until recently I researched this topic in hopes of gaining a better understanding. Many times our dreams are a random cast of characters and sometimes the same person just keeps showing up. Many people believe if you dream about the same person, you might be curious if someone or something is trying to send you a message. In my research, I found 9 possible reasons you could have reoccurring dreams that I want to share. Hopefully, these interpretations will help you work through your reoccurring dream and better help you understand why you are experiencing these dreams.

There are 9 possible reasons for reoccurring dreams. The first is "You're working through unresolved issues". You might be working past a disagreement with someone, and having problems with people in your personal life could result in reoccurring dreams about them. Maybe you felt you didn't get the chance to express your feelings properly, and it's affecting your sleep. It may be time to reach out to them and have an open conversation about what has been bothering you. 2. "You might have gone through a messy breakup". Dreaming of an ex might indicate that you're not over them yet. This can be a painful and stressful experience. Dreaming of them can mean you are working through what happened between the two of you. 3. "You might have a spiritual or romantic connection with them". Pay attention to the context of the dream, if you felt romantic emotions toward this person, it might indicate a new love interest. 4. "You're missing someone close to you". Dreaming of someone you haven't seen in a long while is a good indication that you wish you could see them in real life. 5. "You want to get closer to a person". If there is a person that is just an acquaintance or a stranger you've seen around, you probably want to talk to them and possibly become their friend or love interest. 6. "You might be reflecting on qualities you admire". You could be wanting to improve yourself, maybe reflecting on some personality traits you see in someone else. 7. "You hoping to advance your career". Dreaming of your boss or colleague might indicate career growth. 8. "You might be grieving the loss of someone". Grief is often processed in dreams, whether it's a recent loss or someone who passed a long time ago. Having those individuals in your dreams could be a way of processing grief. 9. "You might be needing extra support in an area". Dreaming of someone comforting you could mean you're feeling vulnerable. Challenging times and feeling lonely might make your

dreams of a person who makes you feel happy. Listen to your intuition and make time to spend with that person.
